H3 Lobster Campout
Friday-Sunday, October 12-14, 2007

Price:
$75 until October 1st (Guarantee yourself the giveaway!)
$85 after October 1st if space available
No expensive ferries for us this year. We chose a group campsite on Pacific Coast Highway across from the ocean. Yes, you can fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the rocks, watch the sunset, dive from the rocky beach. The gate to the group site will be open until 10pm so you dont have to take a 1/2 day off from work Friday to make this event. We are moving the campout a little south to encourage more divers from LA and SD. (hey, I cant catch 50 lobsters in 1 week on my own with just 4 hoop nets) Everyone pre-registered is guaranteed a lobster. 50 REGOS MAXIMUM so register early. Special event giveaway (working on fleece lap blanket with embroidered lobster logo) Only those preregistered EARLY will get the giveaway.

If you are reading this and you are registrant #21 or higher, bring $10 to put in the parking box. You can still drive your car right up to the campground to unload but you will park overnight in the day use lot just to the left of the group parking. Be sure to get a flyer from me to put in your window (or make your own legible, visible note that says you are part of the group camp next door) so they do not tow your car overnight. Suggested packing items: Quarters for the hot showers, DEET, chair, your hash drinking vessel, bottle of liquor/mixer/specialty drink of your choice for the shooting star hash, flashlight, gators or thick socks. beach towel.
This will be the 9th annual Lobster campout, previously managed by Coxworthy of the VCH3. For more information, email Afterbirth at fterbirth at aol.com.
We need divers to help provide fresh lobsters. $5 discount per each legal lobster you bring with you but you MUST notify us IN ADVANCE by Wednesday the 10th how many you are bringing. Please boil them the night before-I hate the screaming, or freeze them.
Prizes for the biggest lobster brought.
All meals are covered.
Fri - crab & corn chowder
Sat - breakfast, lunch, dinner LOBSTER!
Sunday brunch.
Depending on the number of people, the giveaway will be big or small (lobster crackers and bibs, towel, personalized beach chair, etc.) Saturday we will have either a hash or volleyball tournament for those not diving that day. Shooting star hash saturday pm. Midnite hash being discussed.
The price will include your campsite for fri/sat, all the beer you can drink, some wine, meals including lobster dinner on saturday nite and a giveaway.

After the fantastic campout last year, Stum & I cannot wait for this year's.
The flyer is up!!!! The flyer is up!!! Send your rego in ASAP as we only have space for 50 people. We have free parking for the first 15 cars. After that, you park next door for $4-8. You can still drive your car to the campsite to unload, then drive out and around to the day use parking at the Ray Miller Trail Head. BE SURE TO PUT A NOTE IN YOUR WINDOW THAT YOU ARE CAMPING IN THE GROUP SITE. so they wont tow your car. Brrrrr- if you are coming, you are guaranteed a parking spot for your van. PLEASE REGO EARLY-I need the $ for Puerto Vallarta-just kidding-I need the $ to pay off the campsite and buy the special giveaway. The price goes up VERY soon.

Wait til the last minute to rego, please, we dont mind the extra $10.Just call me to let me know you are coming. Also, thanks in advance to Cocksworthy and At your Cervix for diving for lobster the night before. Thanks in advance to Swallow Bitzch, Rod Wad & Spinchter (and hopefully myself) for hoop netting for lobster. Thank you in advance to Swallow Bitzch for supplying one keg of H5 (Humpin Hash House Harriers heffeweizen) The other keg will probably be Stone Pale Ale for all you hop heads out there. We still have 5 parking spots left-6 if Brrrrr doesnt rego soon.
The giveaway will be a red fleece blanket with the lobster logo embroidered on the corner, although hopefully the weather will stay beautiful at 75f for the next month and we wont need to sleep under them next month. Thank you to Nut n Honey, our world famous artiste for his enormous help with the logo drawing and formatting.
